Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship

CATEGORIES OF APPLICANTS

International students who are studying at Taizhou University in Zhejiang Province pursuing a bachelor degree or a long-term Chinese language program are eligible to apply.  

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

a) Foreign nationality, a foreign passport and friendly attitude towards China are required.

b) The applicant must be a high-school graduate who has studied or pursued further studies in the university for more than one academic year (including one year).

c) The applicant is required to respect teachers and seniors, get along well with classmates, obey Chinese laws and rules, possess a healthy body and perform well at university with high attendance in classes and without violating any school disciplines and regulations.

d) The applicant is required to be diligent in study, with the comprehensive score ranking top in class or the excellent new HSK score.

e) The applicant has not obtained Chinese government scholarship or other types of scholarship in the same academic year.

VALUES OF SCHOLARSHIP

Class B Scholarship for Bachelors:

Class B Scholarship sponsors at a rate of 20,000 RMB/person/year.

Class B Scholarship sponsors excellent international students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Zhejiang Province.

Class C Scholarship For Chinese Language:

Class C Scholarship sponsors at a rate of 6,000 RMB/person/year.

Class C Scholarship sponsors excellent international students who are studying in Taizhou University in Zhejiang Province for a long term.

Note: Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship should be used to cover tuition fee, fee for basic learning materials, accommodation fee and serious disease and accident insurance.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

International students shall apply to International School for scholarships usually in June according to application requirements by providing the following application materials.

a) The scholarship application form for international students, which shall be submitted to the relevant school for preliminary assessment and written comments, signed by the person in charge and sealed by the relevant school.

b) The academic transcript, which shall be signed by the relevant class advisor and sealed and confirmed by the relevant school.
